Woodstock Square always makes me slow down. Maybe it’s the brick paths or the way the buildings feel lived-in instead of shiny. It’s familiar in a comforting way, like a place that doesn’t ask anything of you. Brett and Rachel fit right into that energy. Calm, grounded, quietly connected. There was no need to over-direct or fill space with noise. We just walked. Paused. Let moments happen as they were. What stood out most was how easy it all felt. Standing close without thinking about it. Small smiles that didn’t need explaining. The kind of connection that doesn’t perform. We ended inside Ethereal Confections, warm air, soft light, the smell of sugar lingering while the world outside kept moving. It felt less like a photo session and more like a small moment tucked into an ordinary day.
