Okay but like… how is it fair that Brenna & Tom’s wedding was this beautiful and this fun?
Held at The Gardens of Woodstock on a golden August afternoon, their day was basically what would happen if a storybook wedding got dropped into a bottle of champagne and shaken just enough. Gorgeous? Yes. Romantic? Absolutely. But also full of spontaneous laughter, overachieving plants, chaotic wind gusts, and that kind of energy where everyone is just genuinely so dang happy to be there.
The venue was unreal—lush greens, winding paths, flowers showing off like they knew what they were doing. Every corner felt like a new backdrop for a fairy tale moment (or, you know, a cheeky little mid-photo pep talk from the best man). We leaned hard into the creative shots—thanks to these two being down for anything—and got absolute magic in the process.
Brenna & Tom were such a dream to photograph. Their connection is so solid and easy, like they’ve always been each other’s person. No stiffness, no posing stress—just effortless joy and a lot of side-glances that screamed “I’m so glad I get to marry you today.”
Their families? KIND. Sweet. Hilarious. The kind of people you want to sit next to at dinner because you know they’ve got the good stories. The whole day had that “tight-knit, come-as-you-are, let’s celebrate something real” kind of energy, and I was so here for it.
The dance floor? Unhinged in the best way. Shoes were off, ties were around heads, and at one point I swear I saw a flower girl out-dance a grown adult with a beer in each hand.
To Brenna & Tom—thank you for letting me in on the chaos, the sweetness, and the little in-between moments that made your day so perfectly yours. You made a garden wedding feel like a full-blown party with flower-covered walls, and I loved every minute of it.
This day will live rent-free in my memory card and my heart forever.
